Oct and Nov.

Sorry I haven't posted pics in a while, we have been super busy and our computer is dowm again for the second time in two months. Luckily Clint is able to fix it on his own!We also got a new camera so we have tons of pictures.Paiton had a great first Halloween and looked so adorable as a ladybug. We went to our ward's trunk or treat and on Halloween went over to Grandma's house.

Aunt Sarah came to visit this past week and we had a great time together, we wish she could have stayed longer.

We went to the San Diego Zoo this week and fell in love with all the animals. We were amazed to see so many of God's beautiful creations. Paiton loved the animals especially the baby gorilla, polar bears, and flamingos. If you haven't been there before you should definetly plan a trip it is worth the drive and money.

On Vetrans day we played disc golf or as Clint likes to call it "Frolfing". It was super fun and Paiton was a trooper in her jogging stroller. Our arms were so sore the next day, from lack of exercise, but it was really fun.

Paiton is nine months old

Time is flying by so fast...Paiton is already nine months old. We had her check up yesterday and she is the 50th percentile for both height and weight. Paiton is still as curious as ever and loves to explore. Paiton's personality is so funny, she makes me laugh everyday...she is incredibly stubborn and sneaky...the other day she opened the pantry and somehow got out the baking soda and spilled it everywhere and thought it would be a great snack too. Paiton also loves other babies and kids, she is always trying to kiss other kids...watch out. She kisses babies, but she bites her mommy, we should dress her up as a vampire for Halloween instead of a ladybug. Anyway, we are so in love with Paiton she is so adorable, hope you like the pics.

Tall Ships Festival

This past weekend we spent the day at the Tall Ships Festival at Dana Point Harbor. The weather was perfect, the food was great, the ships were cool, and the pirates were out in full force. We really loved all the pirates, they take reinactments very serious...Clint and I wondered if these pirates actually had day jobs, they were too convincing.
The ocean institute in on the harbor there, so Paiton was able to see all kinds of sea life and even a bird show. Paiton loves animals, you could say she is obsessed. It is so awesome to watch her little eyes light up when she sees something for the very first time.

8 Months

Today Paiton is eight months old, I can't believe it- she is getting so big. Paiton got her first tooth yesterday (bottom right), I thought the day would never come. Now that Paiton is eight months old she loves to stand on everything, she has been pulling herself up on furniture for about a month now...tables,chairs, couches, and she especially loves to stand up in her crib when she is supposed to be sleeping. Paiton also loves food now, mostly meat, I know gross, but I am just happy that she is eating. I weighed Paiton yesterday and she is 19lbs, we will be buying a new car seat pretty soon. Paiton is still not sleeping through the night, but last night she only woke up once, although I woke up several times anticiapting her waking up.
We are so in love with our precious baby and thank our Heavenly Father every day for blessing us with her, we can't imagine our lives without her.
We will post pics soon, our computer needs to be fixed and I am not sure how to download pics to the labtop.

Clint had off work this past Monday, so we started the day off with a hike in the back bay of Newport Beach. It was so great to be out in nature. Clint and I love hiking and hope to make it a weekly family event. If anyone knows any good hikes in orange county, let us know, they can't be too hard since we have our little one. After the hike, we tried out El Matador mexican food in Newport, it was tasty, and then headed off to the Irvine pool. It was such a fun Monday, I wish Clint had every Monday off.

Cousin Love

I was able to meet up with my cousins, Nicole and Chelsea for lunch today. I am so glad that we are all in So-cal right now! Paiton loved her sweet cousins. Thanks to my awesome hubby who came along so that I could talk and eat!
Ona side note, I think Paiton will be getting a tooth any day now, she is drooling more and is super cranky.

Paiton and Rusty

This past week Paiton and I went to visit her great grandma Betty and her dog Rusty. Paiton is obsessed with dogs and she was so excited to play with a dog that was at her level, she is so used to the huge golden retrievers, so it was so fun to watch her crawl after little Rusty. I am posting a video, excuse my annoying voice. Hope eveyone is having a great summer.

Fun with the Reynolds

Yesterday we went over to our good friends the Reynolds house for a game day. We played the wii resort games, learned a new card game, and played some old favorites. Paiton loved watching daddy play the wii. the Reynolds made us a yummy dinner and were great hosts. We also loved meeting Josh's parents. Thanks for a fun Saturday Reynolds family.

So, Paiton has been crawling for about three weeks now and she is into everything! She especially enjoys cords. We just started the process of baby proofing our apartment. I thought these pics were cute of Paiton. Don't you love how she is eating the bumper for the bookshelf, she mocks babyproofing.

This past weekend we headed out to St. Louis Missouri for Tyler and Patty's sealing. Paiton did great on the long flights and slept most of the time, she is a great traveler. The sealing was beautiful and we loved being with our family in the temple. We had a great time with all the Seaders/Suters/Swarts/Arroyoa families. The reception was a blast we all danced are booties off. We feel so blessed to have such great families and to have had this opportunity to see everyone. We are so happy for Tyler and Patricia and know they will have a wonderful marriage. Hope you like the pics.

Weekend Fun

We have been busy these past few weekends enjoying summer. A few weekends ago we went up to the beach house to celebrate Hal's 80th birthday and rented a boat for a cruise of the harbor. Clint was a great captain and kept us on course. We also went to the beach and Paiton loved playing with the sand, (she didn't even put any in her mouth, she also loved seeing the big waves, but she didn't like the feezing cold temperature of the ocean water. Yesterday we went up to my mom's house to swim and Paiton loved her new floatie. Paiton loves her big brother and sister (a.k.a. Diogi and Stormy the golden retrievers, she wanted to swim with them.
Paiton also had her first flight last week to Montana to visit her Aunt Sarah and Grandpa Keith, she did really well. I will post pics as soon as I can figure out how to download them from our video camera.
We hope all our friends and family are enjoying summer as well!

Baby Carson has arrived!

Our good friends Matt and Michelle welcomed their beautiful baby into the world on Tuesday July 7. I was able to go and visit them yesterday and I loved holding baby Carson in my arms, it made me baby hungry. I can't even remember Paiton ever beig that small, she is growing up way too fast. Every time Carson cried Paiton seemed so confused, it was pretty funny-I don't think she is ready for another baby in our family yet.

Here are a few pics of Paiton attempting to eat in her high chair...she would much rather play with the food than eat it. I thought she would love food since she is obsessed with breast feeding, but not so much.

Paiton is Six months old!

Paiton is now six months old, time has went by so fast. Paiton weighs 17lbs 8 oz. (70th percentile), height is 25.5 inches (50th percentile). Paiton can now sit up all by herself. The other day I put her down for her nap and went into check on her and she was sitting up in her crib. We had to lower her crib last night. Paiton is trying to crawl she gets up on all fours and rocks before face planting. Paiton loves to play with her toys, take baths, take walks, and listen to music. We are so grateful for our healthy happy baby.

Clint and Paiton on Father's Day. Paiton is such a Daddy's girl- I love it! I am so grateful for Clint and the amazing father he is to our daughter. I have loved watching Clint be a father, he has so much love in his heart for our family. Paiton and I love you very much and thank you for making us laugh and smile every day. I also want to thank my dad for being such a great father and for always being there for me through out my life.

This was then...I think 2004...the girls of the "cockroach motel". We had a roomie reunion today and it was such a blast to be with old pals and laugh at all our ridiculous antics. There was our incredibly messy room (maainly my fault), countless bugs, broken showerheads, wobbly tables, an ugly lime green couch, Latorr having her own room while three of us shared a bedroom, ants on the walls and other nameless items, yelling neighbors, weird guys...I can go on and on. We laughed so hard today, I have so many great memories with Jamie, Emileah, and Latorr. I love you girls so much, thanks for making my college years so memorable.

This is now 2009, all grown up and somewhat mature, I hope. Jamie is married annd expecting her first child, Latorr has a successfull career and is applying for grad programs, Emileah is expecting her second child soon, and I am a happy mother of a beautiful baby girl. Wow...we made it, we are adults now!

This past weekend we went to our local park to see a car show and it was so cool to see all the neat cars. Paiton especially enjoyed the restored 1902 fire engine and dalmation named blaze. We also explored the park and were amazed at how beautiful the park is...we kept asking ourselves why we hadn't taken advantage of this park more often since we live so close to it...but we are now. Paiton is growing so fast she is about 5 and half months old and is sitting up on her own, babbling and screeching a lot, grabbing all her toys, and rolling everywhere. We hope you enjoy the pics.

This past Saturday we went down to Oxnard, Ca for the annual Strawberry Festival. We got our fill of strawberries, we ate: Strawberry nachos, strawberry funnel cake, chocolate dipped strawberries, strawberry lemonade, and strawberry smoothies. Paiton looked so adorable in her stawberry outfit,(thanks Grandma Lynn), she was the strawberry princess. Paiton is getting so big she is 4 and a half month now. We are loving watching her grow and learn new things.

We had a great week visiting with Aunt Sarah. On Saturday we went down to Coronal Del Mar and enjoyed the beach and the gorgeous weather. We also went to Sprinkles cupcakes and devoured some yummy cupcakes. We miss Aunt Sarah already and wish she lived closer. Love you Auntie Sarah.
