Weekend Fun
We have been busy these past few weekends enjoying summer. A few weekends ago we went up to the beach house to celebrate Hal's 80th birthday and rented a boat for a cruise of the harbor. Clint was a great captain and kept us on course. We also went to the beach and Paiton loved playing with the sand, (she didn't even put any in her mouth, she also loved seeing the big waves, but she didn't like the feezing cold temperature of the ocean water. Yesterday we went up to my mom's house to swim and Paiton loved her new floatie. Paiton loves her big brother and sister (a.k.a. Diogi and Stormy the golden retrievers, she wanted to swim with them.
Paiton also had her first flight last week to Montana to visit her Aunt Sarah and Grandpa Keith, she did really well. I will post pics as soon as I can figure out how to download them from our video camera.
We hope all our friends and family are enjoying summer as well!

Baby Carson has arrived!
Our good friends Matt and Michelle welcomed their beautiful baby into the world on Tuesday July 7. I was able to go and visit them yesterday and I loved holding baby Carson in my arms, it made me baby hungry. I can't even remember Paiton ever beig that small, she is growing up way too fast. Every time Carson cried Paiton seemed so confused, it was pretty funny-I don't think she is ready for another baby in our family yet.
Here are a few pics of Paiton attempting to eat in her high chair...she would much rather play with the food than eat it. I thought she would love food since she is obsessed with breast feeding, but not so much.

Paiton is Six months old!
Paiton is now six months old, time has went by so fast. Paiton weighs 17lbs 8 oz. (70th percentile), height is 25.5 inches (50th percentile). Paiton can now sit up all by herself. The other day I put her down for her nap and went into check on her and she was sitting up in her crib. We had to lower her crib last night. Paiton is trying to crawl she gets up on all fours and rocks before face planting. Paiton loves to play with her toys, take baths, take walks, and listen to music. We are so grateful for our healthy happy baby.

Clint and Paiton on Father's Day. Paiton is such a Daddy's girl- I love it! I am so grateful for Clint and the amazing father he is to our daughter. I have loved watching Clint be a father, he has so much love in his heart for our family. Paiton and I love you very much and thank you for making us laugh and smile every day. I also want to thank my dad for being such a great father and for always being there for me through out my life.
Isn't she adorable? Our little sunflower.
I love how Paiton is looking far off in this pic.
